We don't need to turn off the lights because our parents pay the electrical bill

Beginning January 1, it will be illegal to sell 100-watt incandescent light bulbs. Other sizes will be phased out in the next two years. Uploaded by

  1. We strongly disagree with you because, yes our parents do need to pay the electrical bill but if we leave the lights on and never turn them off then each month the electrical bill will be like 1000 dollars and your parents need money for important things such as, food, water, clothes etc. Some parents might not be that rich and wouldn't be able to pay the bill.

  2. We disagree because it will cost more money if we leave the lights on. And we will get to go on less outings if we have less money because most of the money will go to the electrical bill. And all of the smog will go up to the sky and cause the Ozone layer to melt and also cause global warming.

  3. We disagree because if we turn the lights off, our parents will have more money to buy games for us because the electricity bill will be cheaper. Also if we waste electricity it will run out because its a fossil fuel.

  4. We strongly disagree because we are responsible enough to turn the lights off. And our parents would save a lot of money, and save our country's electricity. It's hard for our parents to pay the electricity bill every month and they work really hard for the money so we can be happy and healthy.

  5. We disagree because it's dangerous to leave the light's on when your not using them

  6. We disagree because money doesn't fall of trees. Our perant work hard everyday that we will waste by leaving the lights on. Our parents need the money for important things like food, clothes and medicine. We should always turn off the lights if no ones in the room.

  7. We strongly disagree because if our parents pay all the bills, all of their money will be gone on bills and we won't get any games, food, clothes, outings, furniture and electronics. Also all of New Zealand's power would be gone for keeping the lights on when no one is in the room.
